How screwed would the Husker hillbillies be if Frost doesn’t feel bad for NU?

Three fan bases with unrealistic expectations. And people wonder why Campbell, Snyder, and Patterson decide to coach where they coach.
I'd figure Nebby isn't completely dumb enough to not have him in hand with the number of openings that existed when they dumped Riley.
I think you're selling Nebraska short. They're absolutely dumb enough. Just look at their last coaching search.
However, Frost still isn't off the board. Nobody with a hot name is going to touch TN (unless they've had a lobotomy) or A&M (unless they have no soul).
I think TN has to go with a native son now in order to fill that position.
AtM is a pretty attractive job though. They got deep pockets and are right in the thick of some of the best recruiting areas. And they got a great stadium and fans that care.
But they are just weird.
One thing Nebby does have on their side is they are now getting a full share of Big Ten money as of this fall. That's some extra cash to throw around for sure.
How do people think our facilities compare to Nebraska? All I ever heard about them was how great they had it with there facilities over there. But we have certainly closed the gap some.

They are so convinced that Scott Frost is coming here that the meltdown would be epic if he doesn't. It would be a thing of beauty.
Good lord. I was driving back home across Nebraska today and all I had to listen to was the media and the presser for Frost. You would have thought they just won the national title.
He may be a fine coach, who knows. He better be. He might get a pass on a 6-6 season next year but anything less than the playoffs in year 2 and they will string him up like the rest.

So if Frost doesn't succeed at Nebraska, how soul-crushing would it be for Nebraskatonians?
Great coach. Great hire. Where does he recruit? IMO that is the issue, talent black hole in Lincoln. I’d love a good kN team, one that finishes 1/2 in the BigW. But.... Frost doesn’t have the connections for recruiting.
