Can we talk about Nebraska?...

Jared likely busy but I can tell you the local media and sports talk guys mostly had NU pegged at 10 - 2. So, should be 3 - 0 right now. Also, Tanner Lee was somehow granted an extra year so he has 2 years left to play. But again all the talk was that he is going to be so successful this year, he will likely leave early as a first round NFL draft pick. But then, the Husker fans and media seem to always overestimate their team for many, many years now. I have many friends and my step-son are all Husker fans so I follow them closely. Actually going to see NU vs. Illinois with friends after going to ISU / Texas the night before. So I really do know the Huskers well.

Also of interest to Cyclone fans, Divine Ozigbo (whom NU stole from ISU) is 3rd string and saw his first action today for this season due to their starter being out with injury.

I have no reaction to Debraska's most recent embarrassment, because they have been the same team soft team for the last 15 years. I AM including Iowa State and Kansas in this next question I am going to ask. Have they been the worst power 5 defense in the country the last 7 years? This blackshirt defense has been atrocious, pitiful, rotten over the years. Oh yeah, that's one other thing, from here on out I will not acknowledge them as the blackshirt defense. I am going to refer to them as the Hackshirts. You want my respect? Show me you can trot out a good defense when you don't have Suh. Debraska has not been a national threat since they got embarrassed by Colorado and Miami, and they won't be for a long time. You are an average program posing as a good one.

To be fair the defense gave up 7 points. That being said the blackshirts are long gone and dead.

Yep, Nebraska is the Detroit of college football. No wonder they the retreated to the Rust Belt Conference.

Being the only thing in the state and BTN money will keep them from being as horrible as they should be, but they're history.

I'd really like to know, when they were considering whether to make the jump, where they thought they'd be recruiting from.
