Campbells Ohio game exit video

Video? I stopped watching after the interception.

Edit:

I hate fans like that. Every fan base has them. The fan only wanted to elicit a reaction, and he got it. Which is why he was smirking at the end

Did CMC overreact? Of course. He should know better than to react that way. But these “fans” aren’t actually fans… they just want to get other people worked up. I would bet he was yelling at other players/staff as they exited the field as well hoping to get a reaction from someone

Do you think other up-and-coming coaches are gonna want to come to isu when the narrative is “the coach with the best winning percentage at isu should have cashed a check when he could”?
Yes I do. Things are different from 1990. Iowa State is different. Best coach ever as you say is now 3 loses from .500 career winning percentage. Yes I think we would find a coach, ISU has more to offer than ever and 7-6, 4-8 and who knows 1-11 are not going to have you keep your job.

Wasn’t there another time where he had a fan get under his skin when he should have just blown it off? Call in show or something?

How can you say that when no one’s ever been over .500 here in the modern era? Absolutely ignorant thing to say. Campbell is by far our most successful coach here and if people look at him and say “he should have left for the money 2yrs ago” this is a terrible look for isu

Matt Campbell has turned into the stubborn control freak that happens when some people have success. They think they shouldn’t be questioned and can’t seem to read the room around them because they surround themselves with people telling them how great they are.

This isn’t the guy that got Iowa State to this point. He’s changed.

There were some rumblings back in the day that Rhoads let his initial success go to his head as well. Hopefully Matt can swallow his pride, otherwise his stubbornness will be his undoing, like it was for Paul.

Stop accepting mediocrity. I don't know what else to say.

This has that Caddyshack Judge Snells tossing the club into the patio feel to it after Rodney was heckling him.

My previous post is getting lost in this thread: fan was yelling at players much of the game. Campbell yelled something back along the lines of “you can yell at me but don’t attack my f’n players…”
Yet he didn’t do what he did until the guy besmirched him personally.

Who said he should have left for the money, he'll he got a 4 million contract from us, he is getting paid quite well. Back at you on the ignorant comment as you need to open your eyes. You have to win games, you have to have your team execute and perform. You cannot have multiple bad losing season at the P5 level and keep you job. If that makes me ignorant than so be it...

I've tried staying on the positives but 3 weeks in and this is not something that needs to be a thing.

Dude really accomplished a lot.

Campbell needs to yell at the guy holding the team back at the beginning of the game. Sark style. Just to show that clown who's boss

Reminds me of the golf fan wearing a shirt of tigers mug shot. Tiger smirked when he noticed. Probably didn't like it, but smart enough to know the guy was a douche nozzle an gave him a smile as he walked by

Not saying I’m happy with these results. But when a guy could have doubled his salary but stayed loyal to isu and gets dumped on, who is gonna want to take his place?
