To be honest I would accept mediocrity. It would make our last two season seem great

Many people. Loyal is fine but you still have to win. 3 and 4 win seasons are not good enough anymore. Trust me many coaches would take the Iowa State job tomorrow if offered.

I'm not even arguing (yet) that Campbell needs to go. But I've little patience for the idea that we shouldn't expect results and that there's nobody else out there who could possibly deliver them.

I wish I was as optimistic as you. There’s gonna be a lot of B10 jobs open next year that can pay double what we can pay just because of media deals. And if we haven’t had a single coach go over .500 why the hell would you take less to come here? I don’t understand why our fanbase is so out of touch

Well don’t know what you follow but in the college football world when a big 12 team loses to a MAC team and the coach is on video going after a fan people are talking.

Am I the only one that doesn't think this is that big of a deal? He turned around and was immediately covered up by players. He doesn't get within 20 feet of the guy and you can't really even see him after he turns around. The way people were reacting I was expecting him to get right in the guys face or something. At least some audible expletives or something.
After reading the first few pages I expected a lot more than that video. He turned around like 100 ft away from a guy being a douche. Who cares?
Another data point into my belief that Campbell isn't very smart. Neither is the guy yelling, but he isn't getting paid millions of dollars to know things and lead.
I would have liked to have seen how he actually confronted the heckler.
I don't mind it either. I'll vent on this message board after a bad loss, but I'd never berate any of our players or coaches after a tough loss to their face. Totally classless as a fan.
