Yep, just a bad night against a really talented offensive team (who was having a good night).

Our defense will be fine against most teams. Our double teaming, pressure, wall-off defense works great against teams that rely on dribble penetration. But teams that run a lot of motion and rely on ball movement, our defense tends to struggle. BYU and teams of their ilk have the ability to use our aggressive style against us.

My only complaint is I would like ISU to back off some times and just play straight up man defense and minimize switching or trapping. IMO we have athletic enough perimeter defenders in Lipsey, Gilbert, Jones and Watson that allow ISU to play straight up D. Plus guys like Jones and Ward are solid perimeter defenders for post guys.
