It's a good thing Burton had a bad game. If he had a good one and Naz wasn't forced to step up by driving into the paint, this thread might have been named Naz.

I would point at BDJ. He had games where he didn't do anything at ISU. He was starting and getting points for New Orleans.
This. I tend to think Burton isn't really a basketball player. He is a gifted athlete attempting to play basketball.I just don't think hes good. Just physically gifted and sometimes it works.
Burton is a good player. He just settles for bad shots way too often. I know he's missed a lot of bunnies, but that's still the best thing for him to do. 3 likely things will happen: 1. He makes a shot 2. He gets fouled 3. He misses the shot. 2/3 of those are good, so play those odds
Burton isn't a guard and he isn't forward. He's a mismatch. He doesn't match up well with either.
His advantage is he needs to be a tougher match up for the opponent. I think at his best you get fouls from both sides.
If we can get 20 high energy minutes from him a night. It will result in starter production in condensed time plus shortening the opponents rotation by drawing a ton of fouls.
Did I hear the announcer say yesterday that Burton can't jump over a can of tuna?
This tweet should be worth about a hundred posts of analysis
It will be interesting to see what happens on CF when Burton gets 30 points in back-to-back wins for us.
Come on guys, open your ears. That reference was made about Livingston on TT and made over and over. It was never said about BurtonYes, and they made the "can-of-tuna" reference at least 7 times during the telecast.
