Haven't seen this posted yet. It includes comments by Buzz Williams, Burton's former coach at Marquette.

Encouraged by his comments re: Burton's outside as well as defensive abilities. Of concern, and something any have posted on CF, is "when he wants to be." Still, Williams' bottom line is that Burton will fit in with what the team does and will be an asset.

I read that is being a bull isn't always a good thing, but when he's see opportunity he can be the bull. In other words, he can turn off/on berserker mode.
 
Buzz says he can guard 1 through 5, I'm going with that.
 
Really hope he can provide some help rebounding. McKay has been great thus far, but seems to have trouble holding on to it at times in a crowd. I don't see anyone taking the ball from Burton once he gets his hands on it.

I'm curious to see how refs call Burton's game. Seems like guys that appear as physical as Burton can pick up some quick whistles, especially when they are role players off of the bench. The whistle can also be swallowed when they drive it since they can absorb contact so well.

I get what you are saying. However, I will take him getting his hands on the ball 24 times and only coming down with it 19 times.

I think we can rest assured that under Prohm everyone will help with rebounding. Our 6th man guard has averaged over 5 rebounds a game in 24 minutes and our point guard already has a 9 rebound game.

I wish McKay would stop taking that one-bounce-go-nowhere dribble. All it does is give someone a chance to take it, which they usually do.

Victor Alexander was a big proponent of that back in the day too.
