When this thread first started I had to google the name. Without knowing how to spell it I came up with the whale as well. As hard as it is for some Hawk fans to contemplate, most people don't know who even your best players are.

It would not surprise me if there is not any official release until close to kickoff. The best indicator would probably be if Vegas digs into it and ends up dropping the spread by a couple of points. At this point, almost all of the services are hanging around 6 1/2.

The only thing that confirms is that Morehouse went to a message board and read the rumor. He also tweeted it to Dave Revsine, so that is why he brought up the story. I'm not falling for this, remember the Stnazi rumor last year.

Watching the BTN's live shows last night, they didn't say anything about it. In fact, in their injury update segment, Iowa wasn't mentioned at all.
