Good for him. This whole situation was so supremely screwed up that if the involved parties from the incident can move on with their lives that's about the best we can hope for. I'm glad Bubu is getting a chance to finish his career on a positive note, and I hope the accuser is able to leave this behind and get on with her life, too.

Bubu wasn't even in high school when Larry was coaching at ISU, right? Unless I'm missing something...

My point was they probably played youth summer ball with or against each other and would have been at least familiar with each other. The Palo family is will known in the AHS community and not just Bubu, his older sister played D1 soccer at Northwestern and was a standout in high school track. If I remember correctly one of Larry's boys was not that bad of a player, he just was in the most talented group of high school players in the history of Iowa. There were other kids that were good athletes in those two classes that did not play basketball once they got older because there was so many guys ahead of them.

Great news!! Hopefully the 6th year miracle will occur, and Bubu can tear up the MWC next year. What might he study at this point? He'd be a shoe-in for law school. As Leath would attest, Bubu has been equally effective in court as he has been on the court.

Coaches cannot comment on recruits until they’ve signed a financial agreement, but it’s assumed former Oregon guard Fred Richardson joined the Rams in Palo’s place. CSU still has one scholarship available for the 2014 recruiting class, but the men’s basketball program is not required to fill it.
