If he has committed, and announced it, my guess is that he either has the waiver from the NCAA or is pretty confident it will happen.

I don't know how that waiver can be a sure thing. The NCAA doesn't hand out sixth years like candy...
I know. But there isn't much other reason to "commit" publicly unless you believe you're eligible.
Bubu wasn't even in high school when Larry was coaching at ISU, right? Unless I'm missing something...
The post is talking about Larry's boys. Larry's oldest son Hayden is 22, and youngest son Evan is 19. Bubu would have been in elementary/middle school with Hayden.
Hayden eventually graduated from a high school in Hattiesburg, but as mentioned above they stayed in Ames with their mother for awhile.

He is getting on with his life. By playing the game that he loves and is pretty good at.
What the heck does that mean? Basketball had absolutely nothing to do with the incident so why shouldn't he play basketball? If he wants to play basketball, he IS getting on with his life.
