BuBu Palo

Does anyone know if any D1 schools have offered BuBu Palo from Ames. I was very impressed watching him in the State Tournament.

I'm pretty sure he's playing D1 soccer on a full ride. Can't remember where though. He's even better at soccer than he is basketball.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have an ISU offer. I think that is because he likes to drive to the basket and isn't comfortable standing around the three point line doing nothing.

The kid not only impressed at the State Tournament, but all year long. I am sure an athlete of his caliber will find a place to play. I was impressed by both guards play all season. Congrats Ames

As good as he is at basketball, you should see him on a soccer pitch. He has incredible quickness, footwork and ball control.

Reminds me of Kwadzo Ahelegbe(sp). Although he is two inches shorter than him.

I honestly don't think that BuBu Palo can compete at the D1 Level. While he had pretty good athleticism, I thought the freshman Marcus Paige was a far better prospect and definitely outplayed BuBu. BuBu has no outside shot and made some poor passes and poor decisions with the ball. LinnMar had some decent players but the game should not have been that close.

Go ahead and hate on me but I wasn't overly impressed.

I pretty much agree with this, but I do think he could find a "niche" roll coming off the bench at a MVC school.

He dropped a class the last day you could and the advisor/teacher did not file the paperwork until the next morning. Instead of a drop he ended up with an "F" and therefore was ineligible for 30 days.

He is a high 3 or low 4 pt student and wanted to take the class outside of the season so he would have more time to focus on it. Teacher was lazy and he ends up suspended - at least that is what I heard.

the fact that you're calling it a soccer "pitch" ruins all of your credibility. Not saying you're wrong....just saying knowing too much about soccer isn't a good thing. :yes:

Bubu is not a D1 player. Good high school player but that is it. I have heard that he is ridiculous at soccer though, as others have said
