Bubu on UConn's Napier?

Game over. We have a winner.

WHY ARE WE POSTING THE DUMBEST THREADS EVER TODAY!?!?!?

But really, if I'm an outsider and I see our topics, I think we are the dumbest fanbase of all time. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!? Bubu on Napier...Dynasty.... I seriously feel embarrassed.

As a member who creeps all over CF posts each and every day, but only rarely comments, I can assure you many of the posters on this site are indeed the dumbest fanbase of all time (check that, not dumb, but certainly obnoxious, controlling, smart*** jerks), and regularly treat any newbie or rare poster as if you own the site and you want to keep the site all to yourself (very weird). This OP can start any thread he or she wants, as long as he follows the site rules, and if you don't think it's a good thread, IGNORE it. I am certain Bu Bu will not play, but the OP had some interesting observations, and I can see no reason why he should be verbally assaulted for posting them.

So, do I yell at the OP for a stupid first post? Or do I yell at all the other posters for yelling at the OP? Or do I just post some worthless pic/gif?

1: OP, this was a really stupid thread because there is literally zero chance that Bubu will play the rest of the year. None.
2: Everyone else, please stop being so hard on the OP, he's clearly new around here.

When was Bubu EVER known as a tenacious defender and one of the best "on-the-ball" defenders?

Bubu was always known as an overall tenacious defender and one of the best "on-the-ball" defenders - I wonder if Fred is considering playing Bubu in some kind of defensive role against Napier in this game or would that create too much of a firestorm?

I would think the media would blow it up. Pollard could simply say we didn't agree with the courts reinstating Bubu to the team but Fred is the coach and we respect his decision and give him the autonomy to field who he thinks has the best chance to advance the Cyclones.

I keep reading about how Kane should not be on Napier because they don't want him in foul trouble and how Morris will probably be Napier's defender. What about Bubu? Could Bubu be used to spell Morris? I wonder what a line up would like with Bubu in there?

Curious to hear thoughts on this?

Hell no. He will never see the court again for ISU.

He won't play. He didn't play in mop up time against NCCU, he won't play in the sweet sixteen. I am grateful for Bubu this year for his work on the scout team, but he will never play another minute for ISU.

he was a all state soccer player, he should of tried to get back into that, oh wait we dont have a soccer team.

Is this just because of the whole Leath situation and that he plans on transferring to a different school next year? I was hoping he would be granted a 6th year by the NCAA and could play some backup guard for ISU next year. I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't want any part of it given how the administration drug him through the mud.

Bubu's not gonna play on Friday, if he did he'd lose the redshirt he's probably going to end up receiving for this season. We might see him next year, but odds are he becomes a graduate transfer for a smaller school to enjoy.

Bubu expressed a desire in a recent interview that he wanted to petition the NCAA for a 6th year and transfer to another D1 school. If he plays one second of one game this year that would not be possible since that would then count as his 4th year of eligibility.

Why is this thread 4 pages? Just close it, he isn't playing. Taking up room on the front page.

I think it's a brilliant strategy for a player to see his first action of the year in the Sweet 16.
