Bubble Watch? New ESPN Article

This reminds me of a prank I did 20+ yrs ago - had an IT guy help me create a fake press release from yahoo sports about barry sanders tearing his ACL after slipping in the shower - sent it to the guy who had him on his fantasy team and the guy went nuts when he read it - it was freaking hilarious.
I used to do this in high school - I would save the source/script to my computer to create fake snow days on the local news page and send pictures to all my friends. This was before social media and because of that worked very well as a prank lol.

We need to win 1 more before I am confident we are in. Finishing 17-14 after we were once 13-2 doesn't feel like a lock to me.

With that said, I feel good about our chances of winning at least 1 more game. Our defense is good enough to win a game somewhere along the way even if our offense continues to struggle.

Find a source and post it that doesn't show ISU as a lock.

Being seen as a 3 seed by the very committee that makes the selections 3 weeks before Selection Sunday is a pretty big deal.

Guys, it's due to your location and cookies.

A Kentucky fan will log in and see Kentucky there.

Iowa State is not on the bubble.
I thought that at first, but it didn’t hold up when I tested it, and, frankly, I’d hope ESPN has slightly more integrity than to suggest ISU is a bubble team to generate clicks. I think the is OP trolling via Developer Tools.

I know this is a troll thread. Nothing to worry about.

Front page ESPN is not a good look for us.

We are a lock today, but none of today's bracket predictions are factoring in a bid stealer who wins their conference tournament. There are usually at least 2 or 3 bid stealers every year.

If ISU were a projected bubble team this would hold water.

It doesn't though because they're not.

You can believe whatever you want.

Iowa isn't in much danger of missing the field, either.

Eh, a lot more danger than ISU.. They're 44th in net rankings, 9th in the B1G (who's projected to get 9 teams in I believe) at 17-11. Michigan State & Nebraska have each won 3 of their last 4, and Iowa isn't beating Indiana on the road.

Stranger things have happened to Fran coached teams...
