Brock Purdy placed in concussion protocols

You think a couple of mid-season losses will define his legacy?
No but people lost their minds on me for suggesting he would lose two in a row. Then it happened the following two weeks. To be clear I think he makes a strong comeback, just think many have been insufferable on here. It's the NFL. Of course he was going to go through adversity. Which was my point. We wouldn't know how good he was until he hit adversity.

Nobody lost their minds, they just didn't agree with you and said so. Does disagreeing with you mean somebody lost their mind?

No it was a group of y'all. You don't see the irony on hating cowboys fans because they're supposedly unrealistic then people on here making those statements and him losing the following two games? I was being pragmatic.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't hate Cowboys fans.

You can't expect me not to say something after all the gloating I took when Dallas lost to them. I was a good sport. Y'all can suck it up just like I did.
You were the one who brought your Cowboys fandom into it from the beginning. You asked for it. In your eyes we were being unrealistic about Purdy's success and had to make sure we knew it at every opportunity. If there is one place we should all be able to come together and have fun with this story and maybe even be a little unrealistic about it it's here on CF, but you just couldn't stomache it I guess.

San Francisco 49ers have “system” QBs.

Anyone with a pulse can plug-and-play in Shanahan’s System.

Right????
Even though i personally believe that what Purdy has been doing has been truly exceptional, I am still intrigued to see how well Darnold plays in the system. Will he throw with the anticipation that Purdy has, will he beat blitzes as well as Purdy has, does he make plays with his legs like Purdy has.

I will be willing to admit that Purdy is just a system guy if Darnold goes out there and proves it. We will see.

1 good or bad game by Darnold doesn’t really prove anything for either side of the argument.

The only thing we know for sure is that Dak Prescott is a terrible qb.

I think most QB's thrive or fail based on the "system". Shanahan's system is tailored to intelligent QB's who can anticipate the routes very well. For example, Hurts may not play well in Shanahan's system. But conversely, Purdy likely would not play well in Philly as they tend to rely on mobile QB's, but a person like Hurts will excel in that "system".

If Purdy sits this one out, I think Darnold will do fine. I think he's a decent QB who was in 2 terrible situations. Shanahan got him because he believes Darnold can do the job.

And after this game, regardless of outcome, Brock will be back as the starting QB. As he should.
