Why wasn't he removed before that? They have sensors in the helmets that indicate if they were hit hard enough to facilitate a concussion.
No one was pushing Brock at the time he got hit. And pulling the ball carrier forwards is still not allowed. Until McCaffery came running in at the end, it looked liked your run of the mill QB sneak. Line pushing forward, TE's pushing the line, not the ball carrier. O-linemen going as low as they can exposes the QB to defenders trying to dive over them to get to the ball carrier. It was only a matter of time before this type of contact occurs on that type of play.
I hope it’s a crapshow if he doesn’t play so the talk of replacing him doesn’t gain more traction.
That just shows how horrible the niners fan base is that after Purdy has done everything that he’s done that some of their fans are talking about replacing him. Trash fan base.

FWIW The Niners fans I talked to Monday, some of which where from Cali, absolutely love Brock and had nothing but good things to say.
I'm only a 9ers fan because of Brock. If he isn't playing, I'm no longer a fan lol.
Same reason I only cheer for the Lions when David is playing. Also with the Jets and Breece/Lazard, if they don't play, I don't care about the Jets.
