Commentators on the game are talking about it. VT losing also helps as some of those votes had VT above OSU.

So if OSU gets into the NCG, who would get the Fiesta bid? I'm not solid on those BCS rules work for conference champions that go to the championship game.

I hope so also! However, I haven't even heard them talking about this during the Bedlam game other than to explain why it won't happen. It might help if they were talking about the possibility now that OK State is rolling. Of course, now I'm watching Wisconsin/Michigan State so I'm not hearing what they are saying anymore.

Human voters only vote Oklahoma State & Alabama as either #2 or #3 (this is for mathematical simplicity, as it could very well not be true).


This is just one example, obviously more #2 votes than shown below in one human poll than the other could offset more #3 votes in the other.

40 of 115 members of Harris Poll must vote Oklahoma State #2
14 of 59 members of Coaches Poll must vote Oklahoma State #2

Would result in BCS average of .9411 for OSU, .9388 for 'Bama.

or for another example

15 of 115 members of Harris Poll must vote Oklahoma State #2
22 of 59 members of Coaches Poll must vote Oklahoma State #2

Would result in BCS average of .9400 for OSU, .9399 for 'Bama.

Obviously you can change up the numbers in a multitude of ways to get different variations of Oklahoma State pulling ahead.

How many if any #2 votes will Stanford get?
 
Its too bad the big 12 cant have homer announcers like CBS did for the SEC. "A team like iowa state", "no question Alabama is #2". Never mind that we're a top 30 team by the computers, and took #11 KSU to the end today.

Turn it back on. I love watching stoops teams lose to anyone!!!! And no G. D. "boomer sooner" during the whole game.
 
Well the Sugar would get the first pick and take Alabama. Then the Fiesta would get the 2nd pick which they may take Stanford. then Im not sure what order the Orange, sugar and fiesta have for the other 3 picks

And the whole 'plane crash' excuse is such bull. They were beating us 24-7. Did we pump video of the crash into the locker room at halftime?

All this stuff about OSU getting into the Championship game is just crazy talk. Its a thousand to one, literally. A THOUSAND TO ONE. That's just the way this screwed up system works.

Gundy just backtracked and said he thinks they are #2. Should have never said anything about it last week, other than to say a good argument could be made for Alabama and Oklahoma State.
