Bowl Situation Thread

Re: ISU vs Rutgers

Well, going to Yankee Stadium will be sweet. Just nothing else in New York interests me outside of the game.

Really? Now granted the 3 times I have went out there were in June/July so December might be a little different but I thought it was awesome and there is a ton of stuff to do.

For anybody interested, since this is what I'm doing:

-fly into Bradley International (near Hartford)
-stay around Hartford or New Haven... not the most happening of places, but there is some neat stuff to see, and it'll be a million times cheaper than the city
-hop commuter trains into NYC for the bowl game and New Year's
-fly out when you've had enough of it

I live up the road from Hartford, so I'm going to do the same while skipping the flights. It's maybe not *quite* as bad as you might make it out to be, given some of these resources. Do note, however, I have no idea how you get to the New Haven train stations from Bradley... I don't have that problem. Eep.

Every place is more fun in the summer, unless you're going skiing/snowboarding in the mtns.

It's great that our Clones get to go to a bowl game, but if it is the Pinstripe, many fans will not be able to afford the trip like us. Too bad we would of been in at most other bowls!

This is a load of crap, if you were going to go anywhere else than you should be able to go to New York too.
