Bowl Situation Thread

If they do become available I have my spreadsheet I calculated last night ready to input values, should be able to easily project whether or not Oklahoma State makes the National Championship.

Last week the USA Today poll came out at 11 or noon. The Harris came out around 1:30.
 
Does anyone know what our ONLY options are for bowls at this point? Is the TicketCity Bowl out of the question now completely? Is it down to Holiday or Pinstripe only basically, or what?

You could fly into LA and drive down. I have no idea if that would be less expensive but it's a very easy drive.

Neither time did the opposition play very well but who cares. It still is a W for ISU whether we BEAT a team or if the opposition LOST to us. We're now bowl eligible and playing as good as we have all year. There was a time back in September when we trailed UNI with little hope; yet, we pulled it out. This season has gone unbelievably well for us. Why get caught up on what perception is?

I'm not putting down our win; it is a great win. I'm just saying that I don't mind if people make up excuses if it gets OSU in the title game, which is what other people were complaining about.

On OU bowl front, Sooners want Holiday if OSU in Fiesta. Sooners want Cotton if OSU in BCSCG.

Interesting that the Sooners would want to fall all the way to the Holiday...I'm guessing for west coast exposure?

I really think OSU and KSU get in BCS. I would say definitely a Big XII bowl. No more at large talk. Holiday, Texas, or Pinstripe.

Leave it up to the Sooners to screw us over from the Holiday Bowl.

I'm sure whatever the Sooners want, the Sooners will get. Otherwise they'll probably threaten to leave the Big 12 again like they do every other week when they don't get what they want. Babies.

I don't think there is any way the Cotton or Alamo let OU drop to Holiday, regardless of how many Big XII teams go to BCS.

I can't figure out why they would want their fans to have to travel to San Diego versus going to better bowl games in Texas?

Too bad for the Sooners that they don't get to hand pick which bowl they go to. The bowls do. I bet the Cotton, and the Alamo, would love to have the Sooners and I'm sure they think they'd travel well so close to home.

No way does Mizzou go to Holiday. They are outcasts in the Big XII and the fans won't travel. They are more excited about the SEC than the bowl game.

If they don't have 2 Big XII teams in the BCS, we are in a few. If they have 2, they are putting us in the Holiday and Pinstripe.
