No way kirk is happy. That guy hasn't pooped in 10 years I'm guessing. No one more anal retentive than the captain. Throw in that it was about his slow witted son and he has to be ticked. This just guaranteed Spencer is starting next week, no way is Kirk letting hawkeye fans tell him what to do.I saw that last night, and it was perfectly done. I'm still laughing. Wonder what Kirk thought of this.
On KXNO they were debating if Brian/Kirk knew and Ross first said "no way" but then Travis was like "you don't think after this got picked up that Bob/Fran didn't reach out?"No way kirk is happy. It has to affect recruiting. On KXNO they were debating if Brian/Kirk knew and Ross first said "no way" but then Travis was like "you don't think after this got picked up that Bob/Fran didn't reach out?"
But serious, this troll job was great.....whoever crafted that wording for Stoops did a masterful job.
I know Kirk probably doesn't care about "the noise" out there, but the amount of local/national razzing they are taking for horrible offense and now this, would LOVE to be behind their teams closed door meetings with coaches, lol.
No doubt. They were talking on the radio about this yesterday just from an offensive standpoint that unless you wanted PT, why would a QB or WR look at this offense? It has to affect recruiting.
| Poor Brian Ferentz |
| The Iowa Hawkeyes have scored 10 points in two games this season, which makes offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz — son of head coach Kirk Ferentz — an unpopular man among the fan base. The vitriol was strong enough to encourage one (or multiple) combatants to dupe former Oklahoma head coach (and Iowa alum) Bob Stoops into recording a Cameo telling “Brian” to leave the family business. Iowa basketball coach Fran McCaffery got suckered in, too. Brutal stuff. |
Last night I witnessed two fanbases come together like never before. It was truly beautiful. Also, my stomach hurts so damn bad from laughing so hard and for so long.
I had literal tears streaming from my face while hyperventilating. There may have been contributing factors to my giggles, but the fact this was 100% done by a Hawk fan and 99% of the Hawk fans I saw were finding this equally hilarious made it even better. My wife asked me a question from upstairs last night and I never answered, she thought something was wrong. The problem was I couldn’t breathe from laughing. I was dying at the stoops one, but Fran almost ended my life from suffocating
Why on earth would a talented WR choose that program? It has to affect recruiting.
Thanks to . . . whoever . . . for explaining the Iowa vision of complementary football.See Hawk fans are already editing BF Wikipedia entry:

Tweet was deleted who Sean was replying to, but the poster said "uses his platform and new show (he got handed to him) to rip on Iowa and there fans every chance he gets. Those cameos cross a line. I'm sure you could probably get Brian on your show and he can teach you a thing or two about football".
SIAP, but I can't stop laughing. Stoops with some encouraging words for BF
