I actually think he still has a shot. I hope Minnesota gives him a look, and think he could be quite useful in the red zone.

Okay, can I ask everyone to please stop saying "Oh no" in this courtroom? 'Cause the ******* Kool-Aid guy's gonna keep showing up! Thank you.
So...going back to the redzone post.....I don't see why he would be good in the redzone. Here is what I see in Blythe. He is slow...he would only be effective in the redzone b/c he wouldn't be effective anywhere else b/c it requires speed. Not surprised on this one at all.
No one is going to carry a guy on their roster who might come in and make one or 2 plays a season.
Agreed, you cannot teach 6'5".
I know a few people that are 6'5 that could NOT play football.
Blythe isn't a complete player and he's injury prone. I was thinking my Junior year that if he were to bulk up, he could play TE and would be a good red zone target.....
The problem is that Blythe can't block and because he's so injury prone, he probably couldn't handle how physical TE could be.
Really too bad, as he had a lot of potential, and I hope he finds something he can do in his life that makes him happy!
I love the Blythe haters on this board. They really know what they are talking about
