Here's what everyone else has remaining. The bottom 4 needs a lot to happen so they're out of it until further notice.

Texas still has to play both TCU and Kansas twice. Those games will really do a lot of the shaking things out.

TCU still plays Okie State twice.

KSU still plays OU twice.

ISU still plays WVU twice.

Texas' next three games and last three games will have such a huge influence on the race. Wow.

I like that we truly control our own destiny. There will be upsets and stuff all over (like Okie State on us).

I did this the other night with honest picks and got a six way tie at 12-6

I am very concerned with our ability to play well and win on the road (2-4). Whoever wins the conference will have to win several more road games and I’m not sure that’s us…with or without Grill or Jaz.
Serious? They have had 2 bad road games.

One was against the fighting Frans on a Thursday night in December. Iowa hit everything and played the best and most complete game they will play all year.

The other was today. Against a hungry team that was playing well of late. This will be one of if not mizzou’s best and most complete game of the year.

Sometimes the teams you are playing against play well. Especially at home.

My mred turned out with Baylor, Kansas, Kstate tied at 14-4, ISU and Texas 11-7

I think ISU is too vulnerable to pull off the conference title but they'll keep playing tough. I think they can be in the top half of the league which is great.

I took Iowa State with the huge assumption that Grill’s back recovers. We need Jaz too, but Caleb being at least 90% is critical,

I'm probably too snake-bit by today's fiasco to assess this with a clear head.

I ran through 2 or 3 scenarios using MRed and each came up with KSU & KU tied at 13-5, K-State getting B12 tournament 1 seed, based on record vs. 3rd place team(s) involving one or two of BU, UT and TCU. (ISU being 4th or 5th).

Had to leave but back now to provide some thoughts:

Texas has the hardest path left easily. Only 3 games left against non top 6 teams. Next 3 and last 4 are all those game, the longest stretch for anyone else. We have the easiest next 4, only drawing KU from that group.

For us, I'd actually say the next 4 are our most critical. A 4-0 right here would give us a 10-2 record going into a 3 game stretch against TCU, Texas, and Kansas State, with the latter 2 being on the road. In the next 4 games there's a guaranteed 7 losses between the contenders as well.

I just re-did the mred predictor based on today's results and possibility of TCU being down Miles a few games. I have us 12-6 losing four road games (WVU, Texas, KSU, Baylor) but winning out at home. Still came out with ISU #1 seed due to tiebreakers.

You have baylor and Kansas only losing one or two games?
Evidently. Just went game by game without thinking about big picture. That's what came up with. I dont suggest putting money on my predictions. ;)
