I think there's too much smoke out there for it to not be true. Plus some people on pay boards and connected seem to think he's gone too which usually ends up being right. People holding on to the "he won't sit out a year" theory doesn't make much sense though considering it happens all the time

I don't think anyone is getting their hopes up. I don't really care either way, but we're just posting what we hear and read.

1. Addition by subtraction
2. Head in the sand, he won't sit out
3. Rightfully be upset about it

I'm guessing most are either 1 or 2 with that fan base

The only reason I didn't list them was because they didn't really sit out by choice. Speaking of Mizzou and transferring here is a good comparison for a guy like Cook

If it's not a Big 12, Big 10, ACC, SEC, Pac 12 I consider it a mid-major. I'll give you the Big East isn't your typical mid-major but with it's current configuration it's more of a mid-major than a P5.

Then what does it matter if it's a mid-major or P5? If it's competition, he'll play against better teams in the SEC. If it's teammates, he'll be on a better team in Missouri. The Burton, McKay, and Nader comps are pretty apt.
