13 points and 6 boards in his Hawkeye finale. Not bad, I didn't get to watch so don't know how his defense was though
Well, Cook wasn't really watching either so now you know how his defense was.

This may have already been posted, but why would anyone want to leave a great program with all the talent you could ask for plus a great coach.
And to think that Maishe Dailey was, at one time, a Rutgers recruit who decommitted and chose Iola instead. I think either 1) Rutgers got the better end of that deal or 2) Fran has done his usual bang-up job of "coaching down" his players.Rutgers has actually been pretty impressive, athletic and fun to watch.

I think he will be back. I hear things as well.Honestly, it makes no sense for Cook to transfer. Either stay at Iowa or go the Europe.
I'm a little surprised at how naive most Iowa fans are to how JuCo recruiting works. There seems to be a belief that there is a wealth of unsigned talent out there after the season. It's not impossible, but it's very late in the game for worthwhile JuCo transfers.
yes.Really?

yes.
Fran going to pay him some of his extension money?Agree he isn't going anywhere.

Honestly if I was a teammate and heard what Cook said yesterday, I'd personally tell him to look elsewhere. Cook was so disrespectful to his teammates yesterday.Interesting. All the smoke seems to be going the other way
Waste a year? Sitting out a year would do wonders for Cook. Especially with a solid coaching staff. People that say that he'd waste a year make no sense.Doubtful. But in my opinion he doesn't have any real options but to stay. He isn't going to the NBA and he isn't going to waste a year sitting out because he transferred.
I hate Iowa more than almost anyone, but let's use some common sense here.
