***Big 10 Thread***

I've only watched about 15 minutes total of the little 10 tournament. The basketball is so bad, and pretty much unwatchable. Big 12 is light years ahead of the Big 10. It has to be embarrassing for the people out east.

Rutgers has actually been pretty impressive, athletic and fun to watch.
And to think that Maishe Dailey was, at one time, a Rutgers recruit who decommitted and chose Iola instead. I think either 1) Rutgers got the better end of that deal or 2) Fran has done his usual bang-up job of "coaching down" his players.

He was and Rutgers got a new coach and they asked him to look other places

I'm a little surprised at how naive most Iowa fans are to how JuCo recruiting works. There seems to be a belief that there is a wealth of unsigned talent out there after the season. It's not impossible, but it's very late in the game for worthwhile JuCo transfers.

Accurate, there are only a handful Impact JuCo players that come into a major conference every year. The top 5ish are usually already committed to programs of need at this point of the season.

It is easy for fans to demand adding an athletic starting PG for next year but actually getting one either by JuCo or Grad-transfer (especially with Fran's lack of history doing that) is more of a pipe dream.

Doubtful. But in my opinion he doesn't have any real options but to stay. He isn't going to the NBA and he isn't going to waste a year sitting out because he transferred.

I hate Iowa more than almost anyone, but let's use some common sense here.
Waste a year? Sitting out a year would do wonders for Cook. Especially with a solid coaching staff. People that say that he'd waste a year make no sense.
