***Big 10 Thread***

Wonder no more! Wrestling is dumb, it’s boring, it doesn’t make money, it’s a dying sport. If Carl Sanderson showed up to my doorstep I would tell him to drop the package on the front porch because I don’t even know what he looks like. For the vast majority of people that grow up in metropolitan areas wrasslin’ is the sport of the trailer park kids.

Eh, I wouldn't go all trailer park kids. College wrestling is boring but high school wrestling last I knew was a huge deal in the state of Iowa. High school meets were cool and it always felt like Des Moines loved the money state wrestling week brought to town.

Wisconsin hit a three as time expired in the first to take a 35-34 lead into the half. So glad Davison is a freshman, he'll be fun to watch for another 3 years

He's a nice player and from what I've seen the real leader on their team.

I'm curious to see what they do next year.

Going to overtime after Wisconsin missed the second ft, got the rebound, and tied it with 10 seconds left.

There's probably only going to 10 total points scored in ot, but whatever

Woo did you go to the game or doing a little study/ game watch at home? Hopefully they get the win just checked up nicely in OT.

Often freshman as hyped as Lindel and Cameron (by many on here not nationally) don't live up to them. Those two are building blocks for next years team. NWB playing PG and Young before their injuries showed to be suitable starters.

Most had already predicted a tough year for this years team and we seen that realized. To that point, many had predicted before year with additions of Shayok and Jacobson the team would be back in the Tourney. I have seen or heard nothing that would lead me to not think the same thing at this point. Add in that LW and CL are further along than I thought they would be and a top recruiting class it has solidified that a top half finish and NCAA's 7 seed or better is realistic.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t add injuries as a major factor too. I think that cost us at least a game or two, and our prospects could well have been very different without that.

I just watched/listened from home. I don't have season tickets and don't really like Wisconsin's style of play so I'm content to watch on TV with the radio on.

Really glad how they responded in OT, but there could have been a foul on that final drive where the Minnesota player missed the shot

Someone should explain to me why Nebraska has played 4 games total since January 29th but Illinois is in the middle of 4 games in a 7 day stretch...

I didn't even realize Minnesota played on the road last night and then play Iowa tomorrow

I would imagine it is past hot at this point. That is if their AD didn't agree to a silent contract extension and huge buyout we don't know about. If that isn't the case, I'm guessing he will be fired.

Must be a conference requirement these days.

At least it would have looked deserved in late November.

It’s time for Wisconsin to bring back Bennett and Minnesota to get serious and hire a guy like Creen.

Agree a billion percent on Bennett. That seriously may be the easiest no brainer in NCAA basketball hiring history.

For Minnesota, at a minimum I call Ben Jacobsen, and definitely Otz. I think TJ will do very well anywhere in the Upper Midwest for his next step up.
