***Big 10 Thread***

I know I'll never forget where I was at on 12/7/17 when the Cyclone Alley Massacre went down.

Their plan to hunt him down, have him banned from Hilton, and incarcerated was foiled by him coming forward on Twitter and defending himself. Oh the humanity!

The Hawkeyes have been vulnerable on defense, ranking 223rd in Ken Pomeroy’s adjusted statistical measurements. That is the lowest of any major-college team. Big Ten opponents are making 50 percent of their shots against Iowa and are averaging 84.5 points per game.
Here's some more gems from that article:
On the perimeter, McCaffery indicated he might start using Dom Uhl more after playing his lone senior 8 minutes against Purdue. Uhl had two points, two rebounds and an assist in his most extensive action of the Big Ten season.

1 - “That’s tremendous value,” McCaffery said of adding the 6-9 post player to a thin rotation at guard. “He’s a really smart player, 2- so that will give us a little bit of depth going forward.”

McCaffery 3- praised Uhl’s passing and his ability to defend perimeter players.

WHAT??? 1) "Tremendous value?" - Why had Uhl only played 38 minutes during the season if he is able to give you tremendous value?; 2) "Give us a little depth?" - Don't you already play 11 players? That's seems like a statement said by a coach, who only has 6 players available to play, suddenly gets another player healthy/available. (So I guess a 12-man rotation is in the works for MadFran.); 3) Lots of praise for a guy who has been nearly forgotten by the coaching staff.

No recruit or current player is worth getting in the way of what needs to happen.

Fran lost his mind. Or he's trolling us.

Step #1: Yell at your players.
Step #2: Yell louder.
Step #3: Buy an eggplant.
Step #4: Use your bathroom mirror to practice tantrums until your face can achieve the same color as the eggplant.
Step #5: Repeat, buying additional eggplants as needed.

I picture the part in Little Giants when Rick Moranis is practicing chewing out the refs.

Using hawk logic, I like to lay the blame for this season at the feet of Hayden Fry. Old raisen face is the reason Barta wanted his job so bad, and he's responsible for Franny. (Bobby Hansen had a boner for Fran and pushed hard for him so he gets a little also).

Heard Barty is afraid of Mrs. Franny and the madman will be employed as long as she's content..

She going to sue the athletic department forgender discrimination??? LOL!!

Do you blame us? Literally everyone outside of the state had Iowa as an NIT team at best yet you guys and the local media tried to tell us how you were going to be when we could all see your weaknesses that you ignored

Maybe that Leastikow guy isn't just a crazy Hawk homer but an evil genius? Instead of billing this a rebuilding year with young players, expect an NCAA run, get Hawk fans riled up when they aren't good, and achieve getting Fran canned?

And most ISU fans thought ISU would be on the bubble this year. Both teams have failed to live up to expectations, just that Iowa is beyond terrible and ISU is on the NIT bubble.

Glad to see how much you guys are enjoying Iowa's season thus far.

Let's face it there would be threads regardless, but you can thank Buddy, Mash, and a couple others for all of the junk they were talking since last season.
