It should be a good challenge for Iowa. Nice to see a ranked team for the second time to help push the players.

He sure has!! To the tune of costing the athletic department $6.5 million. I would consider that an elite program!! He should have been fired for it. Don't forget about the two pending sexual assault/harassment lawsuits that were "mishandled" by the University of Iowa also.

Iowa's athletic department is one of the worst in the Big Ten

Only OSU has done more historically, though 27 of their 34 national titles came before Iowa won their first one in 1975. Since then Iowa has won 23 to OSU's 7. I'm afraid PSU will be able to say pretty close to the same thing about Iowa after Cael is done.

You said your AD has maintained an elite program for the past 10 years. Iowa wrestling is elite level, no doubt. But does that 1 sport justify the claim of the program being elite? If so, you must not understand the meaning of the word "elite".

Man, I'm still thinking about Iowas schedule. They have faced 1 ranked opponent in 24 games! 24!!! How is that possible? Are there only 1-2 ranked teams of the 14 in the big ten?
