Best places to go on a date?

If you are in the Des Moines area I would recommend Splash. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is pretty good but be ready to spend at least $100 for 2 of you.
I was just gonna say that... Its been like 4 years since I ate there so I wasnt sure if it was still open... But I second it... Cool atmosphere great food but be ready to drop a 100 dollar bill.

The big strear is in Altoona just east of the race track, has a big fake cow infront. Are you sure about 801 Grand? I know people that dont have a membership that eat there once a year or so.
He's probably got the Embassy club confused with 801 Steak and Chop. Steak and Chop takes customers just like any other restaurant.

If you want to have fun and be active go to All Play next to the Well or Chuckie Cheese. Win lots of tickets (don't try so hard that your pits sweat) and start handing them out to random kids. Shows your sensitive side, plus you get to play skee ball.

There will be something similar to that in Ames by this summer. Bowling, lazer tag, pizza kitchen, sports bar, arcade. Out by West Town Pub.

Fixed it for you. Btw, 801 grand takes a business membership, Greenbriar is $30 bucks a plate and Big Stear just sounds made up.

Gosh, guys. If you'd spell it right, it would make more sense to those who have never heard of it:
Big Steer (as in beef. Oh, never mind...)

Nice (impress) Date: Outback Steakhouse (Ankeny/WDM), Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Applebees,.....
Revkah, if this is your idea of being impressed on a date, we really have to educate poor Erik.

Aunt Maude's in Ames, or the Cosi Cocina in D.M.

There is this really romantic park just on the Northwest side of town. You can pack a lunch and climb to the top of the tower. Very romantic..........

For some odd reason there are not a lot of kids that play there either.....

In Des Moines I really like the Greenbrier, MoJo's, and The Latin King.
For the money, Tumea's (on the south side near the ball park) is quite nice. The food is not canteened, consistent, and the atmosphere is "old neighborhood."

I got married there, if it's where I'm thinking you mean. Moore Memorial Park up near Somerset. It's beautiful.
