Other thread got me thinking about what songs were remade/covered and better than the original?

3 that stand out to me are...

Limp Bizkit - Faith (George Michael)
I Prevail - Blank Space (Taylor Swift)
Falling In Reverse - Last Stand (Papa Roach) (not better than original but a nice reimagining)

Winner with the Limp Bizkit cover.

Rod Stewart doing "Ooh La La" is interesting to peg. It's kind of a cover, but not exactly. He was in the band that did the original version, but he neither wrote nor sang it.

I actually watched the video several times and never would have picked Rod Steward out of that lineup.

The Lake Street Dive cover of I Want You Back by the Jackson 5 is also good. So different you can’t hardly recognize the song. Also their cover of Faith is good (maybe if the Limp Bizkit version is a little loud for your taste, lol)

Because the night by 10,000 Maniacs stands out to me. I like The Boss, but this version was much better
