3 that stand out to me are...

Limp Bizkit - Faith (George Michael)
I Prevail - Blank Space (Taylor Swift)
Falling In Reverse - Last Stand (Papa Roach) (not better than original but a nice reimagining)

Jimi Hendrix cover of All Along the Watchtower by Bob Dylan. A lot of people don't even know its a cover.

The Man Who Sold the World and Lake of Fire are some of my favorites as well

The Man who Sold the World was average until Kurt went hard the last minute of the song and just took it from a good cover to chills. He sang that song so perfect. That and Nutshell by AIC are my two favorite Accustic songs ever

Tom Morello & Boots Riley - Street Sweeper Social Club's cover of Mama Said Knock You Out

As much as I like Morello. That cover was not even close to the intensity as LL Cool J's version. I thought it totally lacked. I mean it was good and fun to listen to but the original blows it away.

Rod Stewart doing "Ooh La La" is interesting to peg. It's kind of a cover, but not exactly. He was in the band that did the original version, but he neither wrote nor sang it.

There are a lot of great Dylan covers, mostly because he's a god tier songwriter and has an, uh, acquired voice I guess?

The Seekers cover of The Times they are a Changin' is excellent. Peter Paul and Mary's version is great as well

Old Crow's cover of Wagon Wheel is also fantastic.

I bring this one up from time to time but few probably know that The Oak Ridge Boys hit version of Elvira was not the original. The song writer Dallas Fraizer and Kenny Rogers both recorded it before they turned it into a big hit.







Another big hit of theirs was actually recorded first by the song writer Eddie Raven. It's also been covered since then by Kenny Chesney and John Rich

Old Crow's cover of Wagon Wheel is also fantastic.

Yeah although their version is the original and Daruis Rucker is the cover version. Not sure I like Old Crow version of Dixieland Delight though but I am partial to the Alabama version.
