The only reason I ever to to a Kum & Go is for the sweet tea. If you like a good sweet tea (and aren't in the south)!
I like the new K&G market stores or what ever they are called. good variety of "fresh" food and drink choices, plus growler fill stations. KT/S has decent variety but fails on the fresh food offerings. Casey's fresh food is the best but fails on the variety aspect.
also does anyone else call K@G some variation of jizz and split or along those lines??
Jizz and Jet, Blow and Go, Spluge and Split, and my favorite, Ejaculate and Evacuate.
Some people are like that. My mother in law will drive way out of her way to get a fountain diet coke in a Styrofoam cup from McDonalds.
Sheetz and the MTO ordering system are amazing.
In Iowa it's Kwik Star for sure. Like Al said, the employees don't look like they hate their life.

Being in Omaha I had not seen a Kwik Star until a few weeks ago while in eastern Iowa and that was really nice. I generally go with Casey's but in Omaha we have Bucky's (some in Chicago-St Louis) and for gas station coffee it rocks plus I like their car wash.
I just went to a Hy-vee fresh for first time while in eastern Iowa and that is the new winner BY FAR. Gas, decent food, and a crowler of beer? SOLD. Can't wait for those to show up here.

I'm not the biggest fan of Casey's pizza...it's OK, but most decent sized towns have way better options. Now the bacon breakfast pizza is a different matter. That's by far the best breakfast pizza I've had. The Kum and Go out in west Ames is really nice. But I still haven't forgiven them for their social media following Cyhawk last year. I won't stop there unless I don't have other options. I actually like Fantasy's in Omaha.
Ive seen these around in my travels...seems like they occupy a lot of former QT locations? Also their branding is terrible.
Seriously, McDs soda is the worst **** on earth, and this from somebody that goes through a 12 pack a day of Coke Zero. Since they don’t have Coke Zero, I have to settle for Diet Coke, but most of the time it tastes like somebody dropped a load in dirty pond water.
Only if it is a high quality, cheap T-shirt. Hopefully, you can buy them on-line and avoid going in.

My friends from other states who visit Iowa will comment on the Kum & Go name.

In western desert areas there is a really deluxe "Terrible's" chain.
