Ball State's entire coaching staff should get canned after this. The coaching in the last 3 minutes was an abomination. Coaches will never learn that playing not to lose is completely stupid
Ball State defense vs Kansas State defense. I mean I know they both end in State, but come on.
This could be the best case scenario for next week tbh, Iowa plays like total garbage most of the game and wins, rather than them getting some sort of wake up call for next week.
Ball State has went 9-4 and 10-3 in consecutive years. Probably not what Iowa had in mind, but they weren't playing Eastern Michigan!
At least they found a way to win even if it was against bad competition. Would be nice to see us take command at the end of a game a la WVU last season
Well I hope we are not as bad as we looked today. Can't put this one on the defense they held up their end of the bargain but of the offense looked terrible to put it kindly outside of like 5 minutes of play. My prediction for our game next week... no clue honestly. I am glad it is at Kinnick for what that is worth. Hopefully this was a wake up for both the players and coaches. If you can get an entire game out of your offense you might just thump us this year especially if our offense looks anything like it did today.
