To counter-argue, no one knew at the time that the Michigan win wasn't going to be a quality win. That decision is made in retrospect. Also, Oregon St was a solid win at game #6.

Now, I'm not going out to say that Utah deserves the national championship. But if I had a vote in one of the other media polls, I'd probably vote Utah just to spite the BCS.

Utah coach was asked today about his vote and most of you will know that coaches NEVER talk about their vote. Whittingham flat out said, "Your damned right I'm voting us #1."

I would be willing to Bet Utah will be ranked ahead of Texas in all final polls....

I could definitely see Utah getting some votes for #1, especially after the game tonight. Texas won't get jack for #1 votes after that.
