Baylor Men beat #16 Vandy

Helps to have played that one at home; still a nice win and, again, easy for me to root for Baylor last night. Someone has to, their fans seem not at all interested. Vandy's overrated. Still, Coach Drew doesn't get his due, as also said above by someone.

the attendance did not match the quality of the game...

7400 was the announced

I saw lots of empty seats at the Baylor home football game v. UT Saturday. Pretty amazing, given the rivalry and quality of Bear football.

Drew has moved from a bad coach to a mediocre coach, let's not get too crazy here.

Thought Medford was really good last year, just a little undervalued next to Cherry. Prince is the real deal and Gathers is still Gathers. Elite rebounder, average ball skills for a 5. They should have a pretty good year and a clear #4 for me, but definitely a step below the top 3.

Really looking forward to some quality Big 12 basketball this year.

Will be interesting to see if with the rule changes if Gathers gets in any foul trouble this year with his run through people method of securing rebounds.

I kind of doubt it since it seems that most of the change has occurred on the perimeter. It seems you can still mug on the inside.

we must have been watching different games...or maybe you only watched the opening kickoff... since the Baylor Line is on the field for the teams run out, it takes them about half a quarter to get completely into their seats... from then on the place was packed. McLane has sold out every game since it was built and there are several thousand on the season ticket waiting list

feel free to talk all the crap you want about our MBB attendance...it's embarrassing... I'll never understand the way the Waco will support the WBB Team but ignore the Men's even after the best decade in BU history... It's nuts... but since Briles turned Baylor football around 2013 and on, Baylor football attendance has been outstanding.

He's a Kansas State fan. I don't think there's a lot of trash he can talk about basketball.

You may want to check numbers before talking 'trash.' Baylor basketball is bad. But can't compare to oSu of late. Attendance is probably a reflection of general disinterest in pre-conference play, when games have very little meaning except to the most ardent. It's not like football. Last week UT/UNC hoops had a lower TV rating than NDSU Bison/UNI football game. UCLA played in a near empty home gym last night.

You keep ripping OSU with this picture, and fail to mention there was a nearly one hour delay for loss of power.

I saw the attendance for the Florida State vs Mississippi State game last night and woof there was nobody there the entire game. How Leanord Hamilton gets top guys to go there is beyond me other than it being in the state of Florida. Yes he is a good coach and yes its a football school but good grief he had 2 top 50 guys as freshman nobody will ever talk about now.
