Baylor loss

The problem is the fans have to do everything. Everything Cyclone fans enjoy they've earned for themselves. We willed the team to the tournament titles. We will the team to home wins. Without the fans to clue the team in on what's happening, the team doesn't have any idea what's going on.
Oh lord.

One thing I've noticed is we don't play well late when up 7-12 points. We don't play to protect the lead at all and end up with poor shot selection early in the play clock.

Not a terrible loss though. I mean we should be able to take care of things at home, but not the end of the world. Probably no chance at regular season champs anymore, but still can have a respectable season.

Would like to see more free passing. Almost think some players afraid to throw it to Nader since the ball will be automatically shot. McKay needs to do more on interior defense. Hallice needs to get more shots to take pressure off Monte. Houston, we have problems. Looks like we are now league spoilers.

We lost because we played like we expected Baylor to just lay down eventually. Every time we got up big, we took quick shots and our defensive intensity dropped.
Wednesday night against Tech I thought Tech lost the game more so than ISU winning it. Tech had 3 on 1 fast break and booted it out of bounds. Baylor hardly made any mistakes down the stretch including making free throws while we were missing them. We need to be able to turn 10 point leads into 20 point leads.

I wish when we got up by 12. CSP would go into the huddle and say play defense like we are down by 12!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha funniest thing I've read all day. Well done

Didn't Morris hit three 3 pointers down the stretch? I thought those were big time shots.

Monte only starts hitting threes when we are down and need them in a bad way to to catch up...then he suddenly starts hitting. Monte has got to start making threes in the game..not at the end...in order to take pressure off the lane on McKay and Niang. We just don't match up well with Baylor. This team lost twice to them last year. We may be 1-2 right now but we are even with last year. People keep saying this team is missing something...yea Naz long. That extra leader and three point shooter. That's what is missing. In order to be a good team you must have at least (2) three point shooters on the floor IMO. If you have (3) and also have an inside presence than you are a legit top 10 team. We had (3) now we have just 2 and sometimes 1.

Lately MM has been making some really unusual bad late game plays...dribbled off his leg vs OU etc.. I love Monte but something has happened as of late that...well...lets just say is concerning.

This team needs to win the next 4 straight in order to have a shot at a top 2-3 finish IMO.

Depth and defense. That what cost us tonight. And, because the former at least partially impacts the latter, this won’t be the last time we lose a game like that.

We scored 5 bench points compared to BU’s 44. And we score 51 second half points after leading at halftime, only to allow BU to score 60.

I mentioned to a friend after the OU game that I’m afraid we’ll lose a lot of games that way down the stretch. We’re going to wear down, lose intensity on defense, lose focus and make more mental and physical errors, etc.

I worry this is the reality of the current roster. And, unfortunately, it will probably lead to some unfair criticism of Prohm.

Unless CSP was telling McKay to not even attempt to play D. I don't think the loss is on him
