Barnes to announce on ESPNU

I see where you get this, and I kind of agree...but we are still about a week and a half out from the announcement and he is still visiting ISU this Friday from what people have been saying. I wouldn't think that he has already let a coach know at this point. If he has, what would be the point of taking that other visit? I'm sure he'll let them know early next week, at the very least before the presser, but I highly doubt they know right now as we speak.
In any case...HOPE YOU COME TO ISU, HARRISON!
Last I heard...Not coming to ISU and Duke was the leader.
Might be some positive in the air, but don't think it's based off anything concrete.
As of now, I don't expect him to be Cyclone...Just an educated guess.

where is HB making this announcement at? Nothing has leaked yet about his decision?

Would you expect our coaching staff to know HB's decision at least a day or two in advance?
Without a doubt...Barnes has let coaches know before he has announced his previous cuts, and will do so with the remaining schools too-as most recruits do.

I hope he comes to ISU...as I could NEVER wish anything good for Duke. If Duke lost every game they played, I'd still be ****** if they won an exhibition game.
I realize that this is a big decision, and I'm sure it's not an easy one...but it's really not that hard of one either IMHO.
HB is guaranteed to make more money than most of us will ever see in a lifetime, playing in the NBA...no matter who he plays college ball for the next 1-4 years. Iowa State, it's coaches, and fans have done a lot for HB and family. To me it'll be an insult if he goes elsewhere.
I was disappointed with the Iowa players that went to KU over the years...but none of them owed ISU or the fans anything. IMHO, this is different.
I understand ISU has not been very good in the last 5-7 years in BB...but we have the tradition and the fan support to be great again. We will get there with or without HB IMHO. I'd love for it to be with him...

When you say there might be some positive in the air, is that regarding HB or another potential recruit?
With regards to HB's recruitment...My questions get side stepped a lot. (I have to go by the body language and/or the tone I get)
I know 5+1 thread was NOT accurate, but I also get the feeling our coaches know more than they are saying. Good or bad, I don't know...but the last time I asked there was a lot of joking around(which is usually a good thing).
But I've been flat out told by a couple other sources (not the staff) that HB is not coming to ISU.
If it is true that he isn't going to make an unofficial visit, that is not a very good sign.
I expect him to make the visit because he said he would...will it have an impact, no.
All he was saying was a little quip that if HB surprises the masses and comes to ISU, perhaps it signals a changing of luck for the Clones and such things as CB coming back for a 4th year, or Gillstrap getting his second year from the NCAA are possibilities too.
Nobody is suggesting that HB's commitment will have and ACTUAL impact on Gillstrap's situation.
