Bama<OK State

All of this is based off what? Your eye test? HA!

Says objective team stats, actually. But I forget that some of you Cyclone fans just discount stats that prove you wrong. Kind of like Minnesota and A&M men's basketball RPI's. When you're wrong just be belligerent! It's a good rallying cry for some of you.

Alabama's D: #1 in country
OSU's O: #2 in country

Alabama's O: #20 in country
OSU's D: #62 in country

I'm sure you guys will find a way to discount this objective evidence as well.

How are stats ******* objective?

You're an idiot.

Here's your insanely stupid logic.

OSU AVERAGES 48.7 PPG. BAMA AVERAGES 34.8 PPG. THEREFORE I HAVE CONCLUDED *OBJECTIVELY* OSU WILL BEAT BAMA BY 14 POINTS. KEEP THE BLINDERS ON!!!!!

OKLAHOMA IS RANKED 10 ON OFFENSE.
FLORIDA STATE IS RANKED 39 ON OFFENSE.

FLORIDA STATE IS RANKED 4 ON DEFENSE.
OKLAHOMA IS RANKED 38 ON DEFENSE

I HAVE CONCLUDED FLORIDA STATE WOULD BEAT OKLAHOMA.

wait...

Wow...you don't think much before you post do you? How are stats objective?? LOL. Gee, I don't know, if Iowa shoots 27% tonight against Michigan State (which they very well could) I can objectively say that they shot poorly from the field. If team A is 110th in the country in defense, and team B is 12th in the country in offense I can objectively say that team B is probably going to destroy team A. This isn't that hard to follow for you is it jukebox?

And I know you're a fan of a Big 12 team so you like to forget about defense, but you didn't factor that into your insanely stupid "logic" with your first attempt at thought.

So if you can't use stats to project the outcome of a game what exactly do you use?? Since you're an ISU fan I'm going to guess it's a handful of hope, and a boatload of denial.

And since you're a hawk fan, you need to feel like the SEC is the best conference by far to justify the beatings they hand down every new years to the big 10.

Okay. Let's be totally objective and look at strictly stats.

The computer portion of the BCS poll puts ok state in the championship game instead of Alabama.

Thank you for proving my point. Using your logic you would have to argue that OSU should have gone to the championship game because it was the voters with bias who ignored the stats to put bama in.

I'm glad you agree that performance on the field is a better indicator of who deserves credit than the lack of objectivity (biased voters) that put 2 teams from a conference that wasn't the strongest in the nation against each other for a rematch in the national championship game. If only those voters took their blinders off and followed the stats which placed OSU above Bama

Ok. According to your logic, how did Kansas State beat missery pretty soundly (missery scored garbage points at the end)?

KSU's Offense: 34
missery's Offense: 30

KSU's Defense: 68
missery's Defense: 43

Instead of being an *** hat think about what the stats say. Overall offensive and defensive stats are misleading. Especially in college football. You could compare ISU and OK St, however you can't compare Alabama and Ok St. Want to know why, the two teams schedules had nothing in common. If you like those stats so much look up the rank of the offenses and defenses Alabama played against, then do the same for okie st.
