What do we have for the nose guard position next year?
Hopefully that JUCO stud we are recruiting. Otherwise it's Joshua Bailey and probably Tucker Robertson
WVU Depth Chart just came out.
Bailey is MIA.
Peterson is starter DE
McDonald is backup.
For what it's worth, Newell-C has been listed as the starter for every game's depth chart.
Although he has not played.
I thought I saw something from CW that said they put him back at DE when Bailey got hurt.I'm sure a lot of you have noticed, but McDonald has been playing DE a lot this year. In passing situations to generate a pass rush
Minor surgery is what, 4 weeks minimum to heal up? Let's say he's back healthy and in shape for the last three games, Texas, KU & KSU, and assuming he doesn't have a desire to redshirt, it sure seems like it'd be worth it to get him back to finish the season out. Assuming we're sitting at 5 or 6 wins going into those last three games that we be a huge boost. But if he can just come back for a bowl game is it worth it? It doesn't sound like if he is able to come back this year it will be any too soon.

Bailey isn't MIA, he had surgery. You expected him to be on the depth chart the following week?

What was the surgery? This is news to me. TIA
I heard that the defensive brain-trust is looking at a 2 - 5 - 4 for next year.
Unless I missed it, nobody has said in this thread what the surgery was other than it was on his leg and may have involved bionics.Check out the first page of this thread.
I may be the Knute Rockne of this century.
McDonald is supposed to be a beast so that's great. He really looks thin out there compared to some of our massive d linemen.
Similar body type like David Irving except not as tall and I have a feeling that he actually gives a **** about being out there.
