Babb to Celtics

He will be cut by Golden St but was going to be cut by Boston if he hadn't been traded. So not a lot of difference.
Yeah, going to be tough for Babb to get playing time behind Thompson, Iguodola and Barbosa. I do think that Babb would fit in well with this team though being a three and D guy. Hope to see him stick somewhere for a while.

Taking off my cardinal colored sunglasses for a minute and being realistic that Babb, as good as he was here, was probably fortunate to ever have even had a shot at the NBA. Isn't basketball talented the same way guys like Iguodala, Thompson, or even Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes are.

@ChrisBabb52: It's been an amazing experience with 2 first class organizations. Thank you @celtics & @maineredclaws for my first 2 professional seasons

I hope he doesn't go overseas if he doesn't join an NBA team for selfish reasons. Would love if he played for the Energy.

Playing time isn't an issue, making a team is the issue. And it's not roster specific. Making any team will be tough for him.

I think Babb is running into Diante's problem, younger kids with more upside than him are getting the end of the bench spots he might typically get.

While I agree that he was fortunate to get the deal & have the shot with the Celtics, comparing him to those guys is like apples & oranges. Obviously he is not as talented as those guys because they are starters & go to guys while Babb would be a deep bench guy for the Warriors best case scenario.

If making a team is an issue, playing time is probably also an issue.

Playing time has little if anything to do with making a roster in CB's situation.

He's not getting playing time anywhere. There may be a couple rosters he could possibly make, who knows.

Babb is playing for Golden State on ESPN right now. Just splashed home a 3.
Saw on Hines twitter that he survived the first round of cuts for the Warriors. If nothing else getting more exposure for him to the rest of the league.
