I hope when everyone looks at attendance in JTS from 2008 on, they remember that there are only 43,000 physical seats (until the bowl in). Everything else is hillside.
It was packed. I don't know what the attendance was but it had to be one of the top three or four. There were only gaps in the crowd because of the people lined up along the sidelines and down on the field.Holy Crap. That place looks packed. How many people were there that day?
And that was in the old configuration. The old configuration had 46,000 seats, if you include standing room it brought the capacity to just over 50,000. The record attendance in the old configuration was the Nebraska game in 1990 at 54,475.Just looked it up... says 51,500.
