Ask yourself

After this weekend, I don't know what to think about realignment anymore. If this is a colossal game of chicken between OU and Texas, they're going to an amazing amount of trouble for it. Realignment has gone beyond them, with the ACC striking first, taking teams from the B1G's supposed list. Had they gone to 16 with UCONN and Rutgers it would have eliminated one of UT's outs and weakened their position, and maybe force the SEC and B1G to act as well. I am fascinated by all of the possibilities, but I don't like how most of the scenarios look for ISU at this point. I'd really like that donor's comment on how "Change is good" to be right relative to the Cyclone's athletic future.

I haven't read near as much as a vast majority on here on the topic, but my intuition just says that OU & TX have far too much to lose by going elsewhere and I think that is what will drive the B12 to greater stability. Where else can they go where they will have a >50% chance of appearing in a BCS bowl every year? If they go to the Pac conference they will have to contend with USC, Oregon as their equals....of which they have none in our conference. I think Texas may have finally learned their lesson.

We need a hail mary rebeccacy....please give us some good news. Right now it looks like ISU is getting ready to be kicked to the woodshed.

Has anyone actually joined the ACC??

****, I don't know. We can only hope this change does not impact OU and the big xii plan but I am doubting myself and what I've heard this morning. "Mess" as my son would say!!

What do you mean "what you have heard this morning"? If the Big 12 falls apart, from what you have heard is there any shot at the Big 10 when they expand?

I really was not worried about this at all until Pitt and Syracuse moved. It went from posturing to reality at that point.

Seems like a convenient way to claim that your story all along was legit and just get derailed at the last minute by Pitt and 'Cuse.

Give the guy a break. I have no clue what if any info he has, but I don't think this is a case of trying to look cool, as much as it is him trying to give us an alternative to the doom and gloom.

I pray he is right.

I hope so too, it sure beats the alternative, but anyone objectively looking at the situation has to think that's a long shot at this point. I will be first in line to gladly say I was wrong if it ends up working out.

Sorry, I missed a comma ---- I have not heard anything at all this morning.
