Arizona State Dual

Great for people who have Flo and are OK with the virtual monopoly it has on the sport.
I don't even know how much I spend on flo but it's got to be like $10/month if you break it down.. If people b*tch and complain about $10/month that's on them not flo. I spend $10/month on much less useful crap. It gets kids expose, it has allowed kids to study the game like never before and the US to jump leaps and bounds, it allows parents and grandparents the ability to watch kids in tournaments, it has done a great job helping promote, build and grow girls wrestling. Complain about a monopoly but fail to see all the good they've done as a company. I enjoy being able to follow wrestling like never before

I’m happy it works for you and I agree with a lot of what you say. I don’t believe it’s the best way to grow the sport though. They dictate the way the sport is perceived and consumed.

$10 on it’s own is nothing, you’re right. Unfortunately, I can’t look at it in a vacuum, and as such, I’m not watching as much wrestling as I could and would be watching.

That’s all I’m saying.

10 a month isn't the problem for me it's them not allowing people to actually pay monthly. Any streaming service that makes you pay for an entire year but touts their great monthly price can shove it.

I would gladly spend the $10 per month on Flo if that is what I am paying. They say that their rate is $x per month, but their charge is actually annual. I only want access during the NCAA season, so I don't want to spend for an annual pass. I loved the way that Cyclone TV had access and I could subscribe monthly, which I always did during football and wrestling seasons. Now, instead of building a following that includes me, I am finding other things to do with my money and time, and ISU wrestling is losing me as a fan more and more. I have followed since the days of Frank Santanna, so it has been a while. I would gladly support ISU wrestling, but I do not care to support Flo.

Most of ISU’s duals are on ESPN+. It is only $6.99 month and you can cancel at anytime. Plus they carry ISU MBB & WBB...although now that MBB is ranked ESPN/2/U will be covering a lot of their B12 games.

I think you guys are holding grudges because you can't cancel as you please on and off. Even if you have to pay $120 or $150, again I don't know how much the membership is that's still an icubs game and a couple beers before and at the game. Most of you probably spend $120 on worse crap that could be going to watching a lot of good wrestling. Not telling you how to spend your money or where to put it but I think it's worth it and I like how much they have expanded wrestling. Lots of good interviews, matches, meets, tournaments, visits. I know a while back they were also handing out free memberships to college kids who wrestle not sure if they still do that.

You can get a subscription to a different sport and pay monthly and still access wrestling content. I'm not doing that but I know someone who is.
Rokfin has entered the mix and is charging monthly 10.00 I believe but then call some content - like the revamped Midlands- a ppv and I believe charged another 10 for that.

This is why I don’t pay for flo and can’t justify it. I already am paying for espn+ or whatever. So all the big 12 duals(to my understanding) plus the big 12s and ncaas are gonna be on there. For a couple of meets I probably could swing it if I needed to but for only a couple of duals (and with no big tourneys we’re doing apparently this year on flo, too) I am not going to pay for it. I appreciate what their doing but right now it’s just for me when I can get a lot of away stuff on espn.

Considering wrestling had virtually nothing before I too have flo. I get that with a limited audience the pricing is higher than what is more normal in the rest of the streaming world. I look forward to the sport growing where there is more competition in the space.

I never thought we would get to a point where I can stream college matches from all over the country. Not to mention FS, High school. Im just happy to have this level of access.

Thanks for the note. I hadn't looked that far ahead with our schedule. I already have ESPN+ (Comes with the Disney+ for the fam) so I am in good shape there.
