Definitely outlier, i think only one other has ISU as an 8.

Even if somehow projected as an 8, it's well inside the bubble at this point.

Palm has moved ISU to a 7th in Des Moines, too bad he kind of sucks at this because that would be nice.

Once Bracket Matrix updates the Palm seeding and a few other stragglers update theirs, ISU is probably the lowest 5 seed

Edit: Looks like all brackets are now updated, ISU back at the 5 line.


TCU, Creighton, A&M, Kentucky are the 6
Duke, Michigan State, Northwestern and Iowa are on the 7

So at worst if ISU loses round 1 they will not fall below 6

You are correct. They'll probably also look at the 7 other ranked wins, including 5 top 10 victories.

They don't look at ranked (at time of game) wins so they will probably look at the 9 Quad 1 wins including 5 Q1a wins and zero Q3/4 losses. They will also look at the top 20 NET rating and the #4 NET SOS.

I never said I was going to watch their games, however since I am into basketball and going to March Madness myself it will impossible to avoid knowing how they finish the season.

Palm isn't in the business of predicting brackets accurately. A thousand people are way better than he is already.

Palm is in the business of making hOt TaKeS to get CliCkZ and ad revenue. He should just start an OnlyFans account for his bracket updates, at least be honest about it.
