Anyone else wish they weren't born a Cyclone

It's been a REALLY tough time the last few years. The only good thing is the good times feel that much better but it's been tough.

I've wished that hundreds of times in my lifetime. You can't change who you are. We were born to suffer.

fan sometimes? I am so sick of this BS.

Sometimes I wish I was a big Florida or Texas fan, they have pretty good football and basketball programs (I'd miss wrestling though)... however, winning all the time might get as old as the losing.

Maybe.

Probably not.

Eh, whatever happens, Go Cyclones!!

Yep. I can't escape it though. I have been going to games for 35 years since I was 3 years old and continued the season ticket tradition with my kids after my father passed. It sucks but I will be in the stands next year.

Why do I have the theme from Brokeback in my head while reading this thread?

We must be who we are.....
I wish I could quit you.....

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.s. And by the way, the VB team just won and are moving onto the Elite Eight.....First time ever!

I love the Clones and have two degrees. I am also a Bengals fan. Getting kicked in the junk is kind of a lifestyle for me. I am getting philosophical about it all. There are so many true tragedies in the world that it kind of puts sports in perspective.

Couldn't agree more. If ISU is all you have in life, I imagine you are carrying a pretty heavy burden right now.

Not looking for pity here, but my mom went to a nursing home this fall and I spent two months out of work. I love ISU, but it's all part of a bigger mess right now. Basically, I am just getting numb. Not exactly what I ever hoped for in terms of being an ISU fan.
