Any apology or statement from BDJ

The issue here isn't about holding athletes to some impeccable standard of behavior (i.e. blowing rainbows out of one's butt), it's about one (or possibly two) of them that apparently can't behave in a basic civil manner towards his neighbors. I've not seen anybody here asking BDJ to be Mr. Rogers.

The reason we are having this whole discussion in the first place is because BDJ isn't staying out of trouble, and it's gotten to the point where the "team" apparently can't control it and law enforcement has had to be involved on multiple occasions. And from the media reports, the issues have not just been confined to one neighbor (although one has chosen to speak publically about it). And now the ISU MBB team has been dragged into the fray.

That's admirable, but what does BDJ being a good basketball teammate have to do with the issue at hand, which is him being a repeated nuisance to his neighbors?

Mmmm, the issue at hand in this thread, as you can glean from reading the original post, is "An apology or statement from BDJ," not whether he was a repeated nuisance to his neighbors.

As huge of an ISU fan as I am...If this guy blasts super loud music all the time and had warnings...I feel no sympathy for him for suffering some consequences. I think some people forget how crappy that is to deal with when it happens often, especially when you have to work the next day and be up early.

Oh we're apologizing for being a college student?

I'm sorry, passersby of Bessey Hall on Friday mornings for assaulting you with the vision and smell of me puking outside the building after going out on Thursday nights.

Except for the fact this isnt new, and has happened everywhere he has been. All signs point to he hasn't learned anything besides ultimately he will get out of jail and continue playing basketball like nothing happened.

I don't know anything about what BDJ has done in the past, and that really does not matter. This is the conversation that he had with Fred: Bryce, you really messed up after we tried so hard to correct this. You will be sitting out the next game, if it happens again, you will not be a Cyclone anymore.

His team mates know how good he is and they will be on him for the rest of the year, because they have that final 4 goal, and they will need BDJ to achieve it.

Bravo. Correct.

Others could learn from you.

Actually no... BDJ did issue an apology and it's quoted in the ESPN recap of the Southern game. So he felt he needed to do it and maybe CFH felt he needed to do it. But obviously much to the chagrin of some on this message board.

Well, as I posted earlier, I would advise any client who still may be charged for an offense to say nothing until you know additional charges would not be filed. Since that has now happened, he was free to issue an apology, which he did.

I didn't say he shouldn't or shouldn't at some point, I meant lots of fans seem like arrogant dbags placing high horse demands on him as he was already being simultaneously punished and having his name dragged through the mud on espn. I'm proud of him for the statement but still think it's pathetic some fans get on here with pitchforks.

Oh come on, "arrogant dbags" and "pathetic?" How can you call them that without adding "holier than thou?"
