Looking pretty smart now! I'm not saying Hunter isn't good...at all. I just think Lipsey fits this team better overall than Hunter does.

Agree, and I don’t think it’s just TJ. I think ISU has a great staff with Blount, Green, etc as well (of course credit to TJ on that as well).

My wife tonight after seeing the stuff about Tyrese having siblings and parents dying said "maybe him going for money wasn't bad" and I shared it wasn't...if that's why he did it...but I shared one could argue another year with TJ could have been a bigger amount of money long run

Hunter was the 4th or 5th best defensive guard on the court (Kalscheur, Lipsey, Carr, Grill) ... maybe Holmes?

Coach pulled Hunter and he just wasn’t the same after. Almost looked like he was pouting. I thought he was locked in the way he started. Under control and shooting well. Then just completely disappeared.

Their game against TTU he was on the bench down the stretch as they closed out the game. He’s had some nice games for ISU and UT, but he isn’t consistently good.

Seeing Tamin get both a steal and block on Hunter was cathartic. Lipsey is just everything we could have asked for and more.

Their game against TTU he was on the bench down the stretch as they closed out the game. He’s had some nice games for ISU and UT, but he isn’t consistently good.

Really solid defender, and showed some nice vision, but he's not a difference maker on offense most games. You said it in the leadup, Rice is just a more dynamic player.

If I was a bigger person, I'd feel for Tyrese, but it's not like he wasn't gonna get a bag at Tennessee or elsewhere.

He fits better in Tennesse. Texas is offensive minded team with many talented players. There is no room for Hunter. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is replaced from the starting lineup by Rice or Morris.
