Bobby needs to relax, just because a minute percentage of fans expressed their passion in a negative way , he does not need to make it a teaching moment for an entire fanbase. Our fanbase for the most part is well respected. This guy is overreacting to an almost non existent problem.

Disagree with the Kansas portion of the article as I see that as a completely different situation. As for the rest of the arguments I would like to think that we are beyond the point of needing to circle the wagons whenever there is any national slight. There are way too many platforms out there to get worked up every time. That said Forde is an ******* and was definitely looking to troll.

I'll probably be martyred for this but I agree with him. Yes I was very upset about the KU game and Forde's blog about Ames was a cheat shot at us but it doesn't warrant people getting on twitter and harassing the person and threatening them. Does this happen in other fanbases too? Probably but it just seems like for our fanbase it is x10. I'm happy we have so much enthusiasm for our teams and this might be as a result of the growing popularity in ISU sports but the fans need to stay away from these types of deals. Let the teams settle it on the floor/field. With the rate we are going, our teams will consistently do just that. Go state!

I think there is a large portion of the Iowa State fanbase that is passionate, knowledgeable, realistic, loyal and positive.

The problem is there is also a portion that is whiny, juvenile, paranoid and thinks everybody is out to get us. Those people need to get a life
