Turnovers continue to get brought up, but he had less picks than winning the award last year. And better stats year on year in everything except for TD's (which is mainly Breece's fault). Did seem to be more timely turnovers though.
Hard to see Williams as first team with 115 completions on the year.
Brocks stats are significantly better than Sanders in everything, minus wins... which does have some impact on QB rankings.
Didn't Williams pass for what 96 yards against us? He had the long run for their first TD. I have a hard time seeing him ahead of Brock when he played how many games 6-7.

Which really shows you how timely turnovers and untimely lapses in the secondary and a lack of competent special teams can destroy everything.
Yep. In general this will always go down as a year where we did something very hard to do, and that is not play for a Big 12 title or win 10 games. The metrics and stats on this team are extremely good almost everywhere. Blum continues to reference this on the pod each week.
And yes data and metrics don't equal out to having the season we thought we may have all of the time, but it's a very string indicator and we are definitely an outlier going back several years. Just a bizarre year.
