All Conference Players

Who of the current group will make all conference teams? I'm probably a little too high on some guys and not high enough on others but here's my quick stab. Let me know who I'm missing.

1st team:

QB: Purdy
RB: Breece
WR: Hutchinson
TE: Kolar

DT: Enyi
DE: McDonald
LB: Rose

2nd Team:

S: Eisworth
CB: Johnson

Who am I not thinking of?

D. Young has to be in there somewhere, I'd bet Mevis makes 2nd or 3rd team specialist.

I could see Newell making 3rd team as a C as well.

I could see Newell making 3rd team as a C as well.

Mevis was my thought as well but I don't know the kicking situation in the big 12 well enough to know for sure. I'm assuming the kid who hit from 67 is probably good

I love Mevis but wouldn’t be mad if the Tech kid won it for that one kick alone.

Guy should win the Lou Groza award for that.

1st team QB will be either Purdy or Bohanon

Hall, Hutch and Kolar are obvious 1st team on offense. I'd be shocked to see anyone else on first or second team. I'm sure several will make honorable mention.

McDonald and Rose are the only no doubt 1st teamers for defense. Eny, Hummel, Peterson, Johnson and Young are scattered throughout the remaining teams.

He missed a 52yd FG to tie it vs. Baylor at the end of regulation this last week, so it's nice to know he's still human.
