And these allegations are quite a bit worse. McFadden comes off like a creep/piece of ****. Ralph sounds like absolute evil.

McFadden has had a history with domestic violence. Including just last year where he took a deferred judgement on domestic violence charges against his ex. So there is some similarity in situations.

I cannot see CMC keeping a guy like that around.

Even though this just hit, I'm kind of surprised to even see him on the football website still. There's no ambiguity to this one, send him packing immediately.

As an aside, I can't remember any other players getting in trouble under Campbell. I'm sure I'm missing a few somewhere along the line, but I can't recall it happening before this.

Yeah, for the same reasons as McFadden it wouldnt surprise me if he gets off easier than he should, but the levels of crime here are pretty different. Kid needs to rot if all this is true.

Sadly its probably going to take McFadden doing something like this before he actually faces serious consequences. And unfortunately the pattern for someone like McFadden is that it will likely get there.

You mean getting caught or having a victim/witness willing to go through it all.

JP Philbert is the only name I can remember, though I know there were more during Campbell’s first year. Had to purge a few knuckleheads.

Unless there is some sort of proof he didn't do it, which is almost impossible at this point, he's not going to be anywhere near around. The "suspension" is a formality and it's simply used just in case. This isn't one of those stories that feels like it could be made up either and I say that as someone who approaches these things with skepticism a lot of times. This one just seems like it has too many small details and events to be anything but the truth.
He admitted in the police report that he shoved her and caused her injury. Pretty easy "code of conduct" dismissal from the team and university based on that alone.

Oh yeah. I think it was next to nothing though. I’m very anti gun and I remember thinking it wasn’t a big deal at all.

Either way, the point still stands. There have been VERY few of the field issues the last 7 years.

This is an aside, but how the hell is his bond only $11,000. That's a whole slew of dangerous criminal activity.

You'd be shocked how often minor things by people that aren't "bad" get hammered, but truly bad guys, irredeemable and dangerous to society get let loose to go right back at it.

Former employee where I work has been arrested I think 6 or 7 times last 2 years (drugs, fighting, threats, etc) and still running around free. And he has a history - spent several years in prison (not jail) for beating a guy nearly to death.

If you (or your family) has enough money - DO NOT ever own up to anything and eventually prosecutors almost always give up. If you take responsibility - then you will pay the fines and do the times.

Ain't no justice in the justice system.
